It will also address female‑specific considerations and how they influence these physiological responses. In addition, the webinar will outline evidence‑based countermeasures to enhance aerobic performance in hot conditions, with an emphasis on applying heat‑mitigation strategies to real‑world scenarios.

Professor Julien Périard: Director of the University of Canberra Research Institute for Sport and Exercise (UCRISE) and leader of the Environmental Physiology Research Laboratory. Dr. Périard developed the “Beat the Heat” guidelines for the Australian Institute of Sport and major international federations including the UCI, World Athletics, and World Triathlon. He has authored over 125 research publications and works extensively with both amateur and professional athletes globally.
