On Monday, 19 January 2026, The Cyclists’ Alliance marked the start of a new chapter as the 2026 edition of The Cyclists’ Alliance Mentor Programme (TCAMP) officially launched with its opening workshop.
The Cyclists’ Alliance is proud to welcome 15 mentees selected through a thorough selection process. This year’s participants represent a diverse and talented group of athletes, all motivated to develop both on and off the bike through a year-long, structured mentorship journey.
Alongside the mentees, The Cyclists’ Alliance is delighted to introduce a fantastic group of nine mentors. All mentors completed dedicated mentor training in December and bring a wealth of experience to the programme. The group includes professionals, as well as active and retired athletes, all of whom remain deeply involved in women’s cycling, offering valuable insight across all stages of a cycling career.
A Strong Start: Opening Workshop
This week marks the official start of the mentoring journey, as mentors and mentees begin getting to know one another. The opening workshop was one of the rare moments where the entire TCAMP group came together, setting the tone for the year ahead.
During the workshop, participants were introduced to the programme structure, expectations, and key milestones for the coming months. Mentees will benefit from one-to-one mentorship throughout the season, alongside a series of workshops covering critical topics related to career development, performance, and life in professional cycling.
With everyone aligned and informed, the cohort begins the year with a shared understanding and a strong foundation for the months ahead.

Supporting Athletes On And Off The Bike
The Cyclists’ Alliance Mentorship Programme was first launched in 2021 to support athlete development before, during, and after their professional cycling careers. Since its introduction, the programme has become a cornerstone of The Cyclists’ Alliance’s mission: empowering riders with knowledge, confidence, and the tools needed to build sustainable, long-term careers that extend far beyond race results.
“Our goal with TCAMP is to prepare athletes not just for the next race, but for the future. By investing in education, mentorship, and personal development, we aim to support the next generation of cyclists in building sustainable careers within the cycling ecosystem, while helping to reframe and reduce some of the barriers and challenges they may face as they progress the sport.
I’m proud to see this year’s cohort take the first steps in a journey that will support both mentees and mentors in their personal development, creating a space where learning flows in both directions through mutual exchange.” Roos Hoogeboom, Programme Manager
Throughout the season, participants will share updates on their progress via The Cyclists’ Alliance social media channels, offering members and supporters a unique opportunity to follow their journeys.
Please join us in celebrating the 2026 TCAMP athletes and wishing them a successful and inspiring year ahead.
