Nov 2, 2025 - The Cyclists' Alliance (TCA) is thrilled to announce the addition of six new members to the Rider Council for 2025. As the voice of the peloton, the Rider Council plays a vital role in guiding TCA’s initiatives, through representing the concerns of professional riders worldwide, enabling TCA to strive for fairness and shape the future of women’s professional cycling.
This year’s new Rider Council members bring a diverse range of perspectives, experiences, and nationalities, further strengthening TCA’s mission to ensure fair, safe, and inclusive opportunities for all athletes within the sport. TCA encourages all riders to reach out to these representatives with ideas, questions, or any issues that may arise throughout the year.
The new Rider Council members for 2025 are:
- Alison Jackson (CAN/EF-Oatley-Cannondale)
- Megan Jastrab (USA/Team dsm-firmenich PostNL)
- Mireia Benito (ESP/AG Insurance - Soudal Team)
- Hannah Ludwig (GER/Cofidis Women Team)
- Amber Pate (AUS/Liv AlUla Jayco)
- Heidi Franz (USA/Lifeplus Wahoo)
These six new members will join the current Rider Council members:
- Ellen Van Dijk (NED/Lidl - Trek) – RC Chair and Board Member
- Luli Roland (ARG/Cantabria Deporte - Rio Miera)
- Ally Wollaston (AUS/AG Insurance - Soudal Team)
- Agua Marina Espínola (PAR/Primeau Vélo - Groupe Abadie)
- Haley Smith (CAN/Trek Driftless racing)
- Marieke de Groot (NED/Proximus - Cyclis CT)
- Ariane Luthi (SWI/MTB)
Alison Jackson expressed her enthusiasm with the opportunity, saying: “I'm really looking forward to being a part of the Rider's Council for TCA, raising awareness of the services offered to female athletes and investing my energy to help women's cycling grow.”
