The Cyclists’ Alliance is proud to announce the return of the TCAMP Pre-Career x Strava grant for 2025. The grant is a fund of $100,000 dollars made available by Strava for aspiring and promising athletes who are in financial need, and distributed over two years by TCA. The application window will officially open in August 2024.
In the first year, 11 female riders from multiple cycling disciplines and countries from across the world were awarded a grant to help provide financial assistance regarding travel, equipment and any other costs associated with pursuing a career in cycling. In addition to funding, grant recipients receive mentorship and education throughout the season on key areas of cycling performance and development. The TCAMP Pre-Career x Strava Grant is part of the wider Cyclists’ Alliance mentor program, “TCAMP”. Started in 2021, TCAMP aims to support riders with their personal development before, during and after their professional cycling career.
Roos Hoogeboom, TCAMP Program Manager: "Having witnessed the measurable positive impact on our athlete recipients this year, I am thrilled that TCA will be offering the TCAMP Pre-career x Strava grant for a second year. The continued support will lower entry barriers and further enhance the development and success of emerging athletes."
